Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University women's cross country team claimed six of the top seven spots on the individual leader board to win the Bulldog Stampede at the WU Cross Country Facility Saturday (complete results). Bulldog sophomore Julie Diaz won the individual crown, thanks to her 6K time of 24:00.31. The number five team in the NCAA Division II Southeast Region, Wingate recorded 19 points in the 6K race.
