Bluffton, S.C.----The Wingate University women's golf team shot a 303 on the first day of the Battle at Old South, hosted by UNC Pembroke at the Old South Golf Links (par 72, 5874 yards) Saturday. The Bulldogs had five-of-five players shoot rounds in the 70s as the team is sixth after day one of the 36-hole, 17-team event (first-round results, second round tee times).
