Indianapolis, Ind.----The Wingate University women's basketball team is currently ranked eighth in the most recent NCAA Division II Southeast Region poll, released earlier this week. The NCAA Region polls are used to determine the eight teams from each region who will qualify for the NCAA Tournament. Wingate is currently 17-8 overall and 14-7 in the South Atlantic Conference.
