Windermere, Fla.----The NCAA Division II number 10 Wingate University women's golf team shot its best score of the week Tuesday, finishing ninth in the 43rd annual Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational Tuesday. The Bulldogs posted a 296 for a three-round total of 899. Rollins College is hosting the 54-hole event at the Golden Bear Club at Keene's Pointe (complete results).
