McCann Mellett named NCBWA Southeast Region Player of the Week

Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University senior infielder McCann Mellett adds another honor from his huge week, picking up Southeast Region Player of the Week honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). Mellett earns Region Player of the Week accolades for the first time in his career. He was named the AstroTurf SAC Player of the Week earlier Tuesday.
