St. Augustine, Fla.----The Wingate University women's golf team shot a 298 Monday in the first round of the 17th annual Flagler Fall Slam, hosted by Flagler College at the Marsh Creek Country Club (par 72, 6062 yards). Bulldog senior Mind Puangcharoen led Wingate with a two-under-par 70. First-round play was suspended at 3:30 p.m. EDT.
