Petersburg, Va.----Wingate University junior Nicolas Brown shot a 69 Tuesday, finishing third in the Griffin Invitational at the Country Club of Petersburg (par 72, 7013 yards). The Bulldogs shot a third-round 294 to finish fourth. Twelve teams and 71 players participated in this year's Griffin Invitational, hosted by Saint Leo University (complete results).
