Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs finished off an opening-weekend sweep Sunday afternoon, downing visiting West Georgia 8-5 in NCAA Division II baseball action at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Field. Wingate improves to 3-0 on the year, while the Wolves fall to 0-3 overall.
