Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs open the 2019 season this weekend, traveling to Erskine Saturday for a 1 p.m. doubleheader. Wingate opens the home slate Monday, hosting Belmont Abbey for two games at 1 p.m. The Bulldogs are coming off a 23-26 season, with an 11-9 record in league play to finish in a tie for third in the SAC standings.
