Kodak, Tenn.----Catawba College's Kyle Smith led off the bottom of the ninth inning with a solo homer Saturday afternoon, leading the top-seeded Catawba College Indians to a 3-2 victory over second-seeded Wingate University on day three of the South Atlantic Conference baseball tournament. Catawba improves to 28-22 overall, staying alive in the SAC Tournament, while the Bulldogs are eliminated, falling to 34-17 on the season.
