Anderson, S.C.----The Wingate University men's golf team finished third in the 2018 South Atlantic Conference championships (team and individual results). The Bulldogs shot a 297 Tuesday to finish at 891. Carson-Newman won the event and the league's automatic qualification to the NCAA tournament with a 54-hole score of 878. The Eagles shot a Tuesday-best, one-under-par 287 in the final round. Newberry claimed second place at 886.
