Wingate, N.C. ----The regionally-ranked Wingate University women's cross country team won the seventh annual Bulldog Stampede at the WU Cross Country Facility Saturday (Bulldog Stampede results). The Bulldogs had 27 points, followed by NAIA power Milligan (Tenn.) with 48 points. The Wingate men claimed second place with 47 points. The Milligan Buffs won the men's division with 24 points. Both the Wingate women and the Milligan men had five runners each in the top 10.
