Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University women's lacrosse adds seven to its squad for the 2017 season. Players hail from Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, North Carolina and New Zealand. The Bulldogs compiled a 12-5 overall record in 2016, setting a school-record for overall victories. Wingate was 6-2 in the SAC (also a high-water mark), hosting a league tournament game for the first time in school history.
