Rock Hill, S.C.----The two-time defending South Atlantic Conference champion Wingate University Bulldogs are the preseason favorites according to the SAC coaches poll released Monday morning. In addition, Wingate placed a league-high six players on the preseason first team All-SAC team. Seniors Aksel Juul (Newcastle, England) and Alex Nelson (Newcastle, England), along with juniors Jon Ander (Bilbao, Spain) Callum Ross (Newcastle, England), Damian Gaona (Santiago, Chile) and sophomore Pablo Jara (Santiago, Chile) are all first team selections. The Bulldogs are ranked 18th in the NSCAA preseason top 25.
