Wingate, N.C.----The 2015 South Atlantic Conference regular season and tournament champion Wingate University Bulldogs will open the 2016 season Friday, Sept. 2 in Florida. The Bulldogs, ranked 18th in the NSCAA preseason top 25, will have a challenging schedule this fall, featuring eight home games and eight road contests. Wingate has five matches against teams that earned NCAA Tournament bids in 2015, while five opponents on the schedule are either ranked or receiving votes in the NSCAA preseason top 25 poll.
