Hickory, N.C.----Wingate University women's track and field student-athletes Vanisha Wilshire (Louisburg, N.C.) and Madison Hiatt (Fresno, Calif.) received special recognitions as the Bulldogs finished second in the South Atlantic Conference championship meet Saturday. Wilshire was voted SAC Freshman of the Year, while Hiatt shared the SAC Track Athlete of the Year award with three others. Wingate claimed third in the men's competition.
