Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Track and Field teams will compete in the 2016 South Atlantic Conference championship meet Friday and Saturday. The third annual event is hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne University at the Irwin Belk Track. In 2015, the Wingate teams finished second in both the men's and the women's events to Queens University of Charlotte. The Bulldog men won the inaugural SAC championship meet in 2014.
