Indianapolis, Ind.----The Wingate University Bulldogs have earned an at-large bid to the 2016 NCAA Division II men's basketball tournament. The field was announced Sunday night live on NCAA.com. The third-seeded Bulldogs will face sixth-seeded Montevallo in the opening round of the Southeast Regional Saturday, March 12. Wingate enters the tournament at 22-9 overall after going 16-6 in SAC play. The Southeast Regional will take place at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tenn.
