Spartanburg, S.C.----The Wingate University women's golf team shot the lowest round of the tournament Tuesday, moving up five spots on the team leader board to finish third in the Converse College Spring Invitational tournament at the Carolina Country Club (par 72, 5881 yards) Tuesday. The Bulldogs posted a 314 Tuesday, shaving 15 strokes from their Monday score to finish at 643 (final leader boards; final team-by-team results).
