Kiawah Island, S.C.----The Wingate University women's golf team battled wintry conditions to make a big move Sunday, finishing sixth (out of 16 teams) in the Tusculum/Kiawah Island Intercollegiate. The Bulldogs shot 323 Sunday for a 36-hole total of 649. Region foe Armstrong State rallied to win the team title with a two-day score of 629. South Atlantic Conference member Tusculum College hosts the annual event at the Cougar Point Golf Club (par 72, 5825 yards).
