Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs led by as many as 18 in the second half, then withstood a Lenoir-Rhyne rally to prevail 81-79 in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate wins its seventh straight overall and eighth consecutive league victory. The Bulldogs improve to 14-4 overall and 10-2 in the SAC, while the Bears fall to 12-5 overall and 7-5.
