Wingate’s Crawford sets record in women’s shot put at Camel City Invitational

Winston-Salem, N.C.----Wingate University freshman Danielle Crawford set a school record in the women's shot put, taking eighth place with her throw of 12.86 meters in the Camel City Invitational Saturday at the JDL Fast Track (complete results). Athanette Tucker held the previous record of 12.76 meters, established at the same Camel City Invitational in 2017.
