Wingate, N.C.----Winners of 13 conference titles in the last eight seasons, the Wingate University Bulldogs will open the 2020 season this weekend, traveling to Mars Hill Saturday afternoon. The 'Dogs are coming off a 21-2 season, going 9-1 in league play and winning the SAC Tournament championship to earn the top seed in the NCAA Southeast Regional. Wingate hosted the regionals for the second straight season.
