Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University softball season gets underway this weekend, with the Bulldogs hosting a doubleheader against Erskine Saturday at 1 p.m. Wingate is coming off a 32-19 season, finishing second in the SAC standings and earning an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
