Rock Hill, S.C.----The defending South Atlantic Conference regular season and tournament champion Wingate University Bulldogs have been picked as the preseason SAC favorites in the coaches poll, which was released Thursday morning. In addition, junior Layla Tanik (Raleigh, N.C.) earns preseason All-SAC second team singles honors. Sophomores Oroma Womeodu (Memphis, Tenn.) and Maria Garcia (San Carlos, Venezuela) have been named to the preseason All-SAC doubles second team.
