Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University sophomore Franziska Althaus (Wiesbaden, Germany) set a new 6K school record, finishing fourth in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional cross country championship meet Saturday at the WU Cross Country Facility. Althaus and her teammates finished third to earn a bid to the national championship meet (complete results).
