Kannapolis, N.C.----The Wingate University men's golf team shot the fifth-best score of the day, moving up the ladder to finish ninth in the Queens Invitational, hosted by Queens University of Charlotte at The Club at Irish Creek (par 71, 7024 yards). Wingate recorded a 286 Tuesday to finish at 864. Georgia Southwestern rallied past USC Aiken and Lincoln Memorial to take the team title at 835.
