Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Special Olympics Field Day is part workout, part pep rally and part family reunion. Each year, the Bulldog football team takes a preseason Saturday morning to host the annual event. The Field Day includes multiple interactive stations in which the Olympians can test their football skills. Due to weather, Saturday's event was moved to Graham Gill Field so the Olympians could utilize the turf.
