Rock Hill, S.C.----Wingate University junior pitcher/designated player Aubrey Reep has been named the 2019 South Atlantic Conference softball Player of the Year, league officials announced Thursday afternoon. Reep is joined as a first team All-SAC selection by senior pitcher Rachel Weidner, junior outfielder Emma Swenson and redshirt sophomore first baseman Mary Claire Coyne. Junior outfielder Jordan Floyd joins freshman third baseman Sammi Jo Loney as an honorable mention all-conference honoree. Wingate's four first team All-SAC selections are the most in the league.
