Indianapolis, Ind.----The Wingate University Bulldogs are ranked seventh in the first set of NCAA Southeast Region rankings, which were released Wednesday afternoon. The NCAA region rankings are used to determine the NCAA Division II tournament field. The NCAA Southeast Regional will be comprised of seven teams. The Bulldogs earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament last season, their first-at large selection since the 2001 season. Wingate earned automatic bids to the tournament in 2011 and 2015 after winning SAC Tournament titles.
