Rock Hill, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs had six players earn league honors Wednesday afternoon when the South Atlantic Conference women's lacrosse awards were announced. Wingate's Becca Ruiz has been named the 2019 SAC Freshman of the Year, while Kendall Wells, Sierra Street and Arion Pierre are first team All-SAC selections. Ruiz is a second team all-conference honoree, joining seniors Emily Ketron and Megan Amrein.
