Wingate, N.C.----Bulldog redshirt senior wide receiver BJ Muckelvene (Waxhaw, N.C.) caught a 70-yard touchdown pass from classmate Jordan Lane (Charlotte, N.C.) to boost the Wingate University offense to a 31-21 spring football game victory over the Bulldog defense Saturday at Irwin Belk Stadium and John R. Martin Field. Wingate opens the 2019 season on Thursday night, Sept. 5, visiting Johnson C. Smith for a 7 p.m. contest.
