Monroe, N.C.----The Wingate University men's golf team tied an NCAA-era school record with a second-round score of 11-under-par 277 Monday to take the lead in the 19th annual J. Ralph Hargett Memorial Intercollegiate golf tournament powered by OrthoCarolina at the Stonebridge Golf Club (par 72, 6904 yards). Wingate posted a 36-hole score of 569 to take a nine-stroke lead over Belmont Abbey College (combined leader board; player leader board; team leader board; tournament statistics).
