Bluffton, S.C.----The Wingate University women's golf team is tied for fifth place after the first round of the second annual Low Country Invitational, hosted by the Bulldogs at the Crescent Pointe Golf Club (an Arnold Palmer Signature Course) Monday. Wingate shot a 319 Monday. Defending champion Western Michigan leads UNC Pembroke by one stroke (308-309) entering Tuesday's final round (Monday's results).
