Wingate, N.C.----The fifth-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs stayed perfect against NCAA Division II opponents Monday afternoon, opening league play with a 7-0 victory over Mars Hill University in South Atlantic Conference men's tennis action. Wingate improves to 5-1 overall and 1-0 in the SAC, while the Lions fall to 6-5 overall and 0-2 in league play.
