Rock Hill, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs have been picked to finish second in the preseason South Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse coaches poll, which was released Thursday morning. Conor Gronbach is a preseason first team All-SAC honoree, while Bobby Padden, Alex Llerandi, Reese Orman and Wyatt Weiseman are second team selections. Wingate went 11-5 last season, posting a 7-1 record in league play to finish second in the SAC standings. The 'Dogs went on to win their second consecutive SAC Tournament championship.
