Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs held visiting Catawba College to a season-low 37 percent from the field Wednesday evening, leading by as many as 24 points en route to an 88-74 victory in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate snaps Catawba's seven-game winning streak, improving to 5-5 overall and 3-1 in the SAC while the Indians fall to 8-2 overall and 3-1 in league play.
