Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs held the 11th-ranked Carson-Newman University Eagles to their lowest shooting percentage in 76 games Saturday afternoon, prevailing 67-58 in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate wins its fifth straight, improving to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in league play. The Eagles fall to 6-2 overall and 1-1 in the SAC.
