Jefferson City, Tenn.----The Wingate University swimming teams won nine events (five women, four men) on the first day of a two-day dual meet against Bluegrass Mountain Conference rival Carson-Newman University Friday night at the MSAC pool (complete Friday results). Wingate freshman Anna Miram (Ludvika, Sweden) continues her winning ways, as she touched first in the 200 Backstroke (2:04.71) and helped the Bulldogs win the 400 Medley Relay (3:58.16).
