Kansas City, Mo.----The South Atlantic Conference regular season and tournament champion Wingate University Bulldogs had five players earn All-Southeast Region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Senior midfielder Shaun Gadsby (Newcastle, England), along with sophomore forward Jon Ander (Bilbao, Spain) and freshman goalkeeper Pablo Jara (Santiago, Chile) are first team All-Region selections. Junior defender Alex Nelson (Newcastle, England) is a second team honoree, while junior midfielder Aksel Juul (Newcastle, England) earns third team accolades.
