Wingate, N.C.----Five members of the Wingate University women's basketball team participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Saturday in Charlotte. Seniors Caroline Averette, Taylor Helms and Courtney Robinson were joined by junior Jordan Quick and sophomore Jasmine Stephen. The quintet participated to support Taylor's mom (Lisa), a French teacher at Cuthbertson High School.
