Cleveland, Tenn.----The number 20 Wingate University women's golf team shaved a tournament-best 12 strokes from its round one to round two score, tying for seventh place after the first day of the Flames Regional Preview, hosted by Lee University at the Cleveland Country Club (par 72, 5957 yards). The Bulldogs shot a 308 during the afternoon round following a 320 in the morning session (complete 36-hole results).
