Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs looked to be on their way to tying the game in the final minute of regulation Saturday afternoon, but a failed PAT returned for a score finished off a 26-23 victory for visiting Florida Tech in NCAA Division II football action at Irwin Belk Stadium and John R. Martin Field. The Panthers improve to 4-1 overall, while the 'Dogs fall to 2-3 on the season. Wingate's last two losses have come by a total of 10 points.
