Boone, N.C.----The Wingate University men's cross country team finished fourth and the women claimed fifth at the Covered Bridge Open, hosted by Appalachian State University at the State Farm Fields and Kennedy Trails Friday (men's 8K results; women's 5K results). Wingate sophomores Micah Kipchumba and Julie Diaz were the top finishers for the Bulldogs.
