Indianapolis, Ind.----The 12th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs are the number two seed in the NCAA Southeast Regional, which will begin this weekend in Wingate for the first time in program history. The NCAA Division II women's tennis field was released Tuesday night. The Bulldogs will face seventh-seeded Chowan Saturday in Wingate, with the regional semifinals taking place Sunday. The eight-time defending regular season SAC champs will enter NCAA Tournament play 20-4 overall after going 10-0 in league play. This is the first NCAA Tournament for the Bulldogs since 2015.
