Rock Hill, S.C.----Wingate University sophomore Michela Verpelli (Milan, Italy) has been named the South Atlantic Conference women's tennis Player of the Week, league officials announced Monday afternoon. Verpelli earns Player of the Week accolades for the third time this season.
