Wingate, N.C.----Three different receivers caught touchdowns from three quarterbacks as the Wingate University offense earned a 38-32 spring football game victory over the Bulldog defense Saturday at Irwin Belk Stadium and John R. Martin Field. Wingate opens the 2018 season on Thursday night, August 30, hosting Johnson C. Smith for a 7 p.m. contest on ESPN3. The spring game marked the seventh year for the Wingate football team's partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Union County.
