Greensboro, N.C.----Wingate junior thrower Hannah Hinson (Gates, N.C.) and junior long jumper Andrew Spence (Port Orange, Fla.) put together strong performances on day one of the Aggie Invitational, hosted by N.C. A&T State University at the Irwin Belk Track (results). The Bulldogs are using the two-day event as tune-up for next week's South Atlantic Conference championships. Hinson was fourth in the women's hammer throw with a toss of 46.02 meters. Spence was fourth in the men's long jump with his leap of 6.96 meters.
