Wingate, N.C.----The 12th-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears swept a doubleheader at Wingate University Wednesday afternoon in South Atlantic Conference softball action. The Bears won the opener 4-0, while holding off a Wingate rally to prevail 4-3 in game two to improve to 34-5 overall and 11-1 in the SAC. The Bulldogs fall to 13-23 overall and 3-7 in league play.
