Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University junior right-hander Austin Turgeon (Athens, Ga.) tossed eight shutout innings in game two of Sunday's South Atlantic Conference doubleheader against Lenoir-Rhyne University, allowing just three hits in the 1-0 victory after the Bears took the first game 4-0. The Bulldogs take two out of three in the weekend series, improving to 24-8 overall and 11-4 in the SAC. The Bears move to 20-12 overall and 9-6 in league play.
